I did mathematics for my GCE (A/L) and was looking for a career path. I managed to get career guidance from National Career Guidance and Counselling Center and started pursuing my information communication technology education up to NVQ level 5. Currently, I’m working as a Technical Officer (ICT) at the University of Sri Jayawardenapura. I see one of the secrets of my career success for who I am today due to the proper guidance that made me live this effective and enjoyable career.

Coming from Lankapura, Polonnaruwa, I wasn’t fortunate to enter the state education system in the Arts stream. தொழில்சார் வழிகாட்டுதலின் மூலம் தொழிற் கல்வியை மேம்படுத்துதல்අ.පො.ස (සා/පෙළ) අවසන් කල දරුවන් අ.පො.ස (උ/පෙළ) ආරම්භ වන තෙක්, අ.පො.ස (උ/පෙළ) අවසන් කල දරුවන් ප්‍රතිඵල ලැබෙන තෙක් පාසල් පද්ධතිය තුල රදවා ගනිමින් වෘත්තීය මාර්ගෝපදේශනය තුලින් තෘතියීක අධ්‍යාපනය ප්‍රවර්ධනය කිරීම මෙහි මූලික අරමුණ වේ. ඒ සඳහා 2024 වර්ෂයේ ජනවාරි මස අ.පො.ස (උ/පෙළ) සඳහා පෙනී සිටින දරුවන් ඉලක්ක කර ගනිමින් දීප ව්‍යාප්තව පාසල් 299ක මෙම වැඩසටහන දියත් කෙරේ. එහි ආරම්භක වැඩසටහන පෙබරවාරි මස ආරම්භයේ පැවැත්වෙන අතර මෙවර අ.පො.ස (උ/පෙළ) සඳහා පෙනී සිටින සියලු සිසු දරුවන් පහත QR කේතය භාවිතා ඊට අදාල අයදුම්පත පුරවා ඒ සඳහා සහභාගී විය හැක.
க.பொ.த (சா/த) பூர்த்தி செய்த மாணவர்கள் க.பொ.த (உ/த) ஆரம்பிக்கும் வரை மற்றும் க.பொ.த (உ/த) பூர்த்தி செய்த மாணவர்களின் பெறு பேறுகள் வரும் வரையான காலப்பகுதிக்குள் பாடசாலை கட்டமைப்பினூடாக தொழில் வழிகாட்டல் மூலம் உயர்நிலைக் கல்வியை மேம்படுத்துவதே இதன் முக்கிய நோக்கமாகும். இந் நிகழ்ச்சித்திட்டம் 2024 ஜனவரியில் க.பொ.த (உ/த) க்குத் தோற்றும் மாணவர்களை இலக்காகக் கொண்டு நாடு முழுவதும் உள்ள 299 பாடசாலைகளில் ஆரம்பிக்கவுள்ளது. இதன் அங்குரார்ப்பண நிகழ்வு பெப்ரவரி மாத தொடக்கத்தில் நடைபெறவுள்ளதுடன், இவ் வருடம் க.பொ.த (உ/த) பரீட்சைக்கு தோற்றும் அனைத்து மாணவர்களும் கீழே உள்ள QR குறியீட்டைப் பயன்படுத்தி உரிய விண்ணப்பத்தை பூர்த்தி செய்து அதில் பங்குபற்ற முடியும்.
Career guidance by keeping the students who have completed GCE (O/L) in the school system until the start of GCE (A/L), Students who have completed G.E.C. (A/L) are kept in the school system until the results are available. The main objective of this is to promote tertiary education through career guidance. This program will be launched in 299 schools across the island, aiming at the students appearing for G.E.C.(A/L) in January 2024. Its inaugural program will be held at the beginning of February and this time all students appearing for GCE (A/L) can participate in it by filling the relevant application using the QR code below.
